Shenzhen, China \u2014 [24 April<\/strong> 2026<\/strong>]<\/strong> \u2014 FAIR plus 2026 \u2014 Fair of AI and Robotics, plus \u2014 successfully concluded at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center, Futian, from 22\u201324 April 2026<\/strong>, jointly organized by the Shenzhen Robotics Association and Messe Stuttgart, bringing together the global AI and robotics community to explore one of the industry\u2019s most urgent questions: how to move robots from laboratory prototypes to scalable mass production and real-world deployment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As embodied intelligence moves from the digital world into the physical world, and as the robotics industry shifts from a race of technologies to a challenge of engineering, manufacturing and commercialization, FAIR plus 2026 presented a full-chain answer from Shenzhen \u2014 one of the world\u2019s most dynamic centers for robotics, advanced manufacturing and AI hardware innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2026 edition expanded to 15,000 sqm<\/strong>, doubling the scale of the 2025 launch edition. It gathered 389 robotics industry companies<\/strong>, 325 leading speakers<\/strong>, and 98 professional concurrent events<\/strong>, attracting 62,171 professional visits<\/strong>, including 3,326 international visits from 101 countries and regions<\/strong>, with Singapore, South Korea, Japan, the United States, Germany, Thailand, Malaysia, Russia, India and the Netherlands ranking among the top overseas visitor source markets. The show also received in-depth coverage from more than 100 domestic and international media outlets<\/strong>, generating over 5 million online impressions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than an exhibition, FAIR plus 2026 became an technology ecosystem platform where global research, engineering, manufacturing, capital, standards, supply chains and application scenarios were connected in one place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Technology Demonstration to Mass Production<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

FAIR plus was created in response to a structural change in the robotics industry. Over the past decade, China has become the world\u2019s largest robotics market. Its core components have been verified through large-scale industrial application, and its robot manufacturing capabilities are now being exported to global markets. At the same time, robotics is entering a new stage of deep integration with AI: AI is moving from the information world into the physical world, and robots are evolving from specialized intelligence toward general-purpose embodied intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FAIR plus 2026 responded to these needs by focusing on the full robotics development chain. The exhibition covered more than 50 core segments of the embodied AI and robotics industry<\/strong>, including core components, integrated joints, dexterous hands, servo systems, sensors, AI algorithms, computing platforms, simulation systems, robot training fields, production equipment, testing and certification, humanoid robots, industrial robots, service robots, agricultural robots, medical and rehabilitation robots, emergency rescue robots and commercial service robots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead of presenting isolated booths, FAIR plus built what the organizers describe as an \u201cindustrial circle\u201d \u2014 a closely connected ecosystem where technology suppliers, robot manufacturers, academic institutions, industrial users, investors, standards bodies and global buyers could meet, evaluate and cooperate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Global Academic and Industry Leaders Gather in Shenzhen<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

FAIR plus 2026 brought together leading voices from academia, industry and international associations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

International industry organizations including the International Federation of Robotics(IFR), VDMA Robotics + Automation, and leading robotics associations from Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East and Africa participated in the event, sharing insights on global robotics market trends, international cooperation and regional demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Academic and research institutions, including the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and international academic partners such as Science Robotics<\/em>, contributed to high-level discussions on the future of embodied intelligence and robotics research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leading technology and robotics companies, including Tencent, UBTECH, Unitree, DOBOT, Midea, Hikvision and other key players, shared their views on the commercialization path of humanoid robots, industrial robots and intelligent robotic systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

International Cooperation and Real Business Matching<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The international dimension of FAIR plus 2026 was one of its strongest highlights. More than ten national and regional robotics association leaders attended the event, including representatives from Finland, the Netherlands, Germany, Israel, Silicon Valley, Switzerland, Cameroon, Korea, Malaysia and Thailand. Closed-door matchmaking sessions were organized for International professional buyer groups, according to specialised demand spanning industrial manufacturing, medical rehabilitation, agricultural production, smart logistics, emergency safety and commercial services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to preliminary contract statistics, business cooperation generated during FAIR plus 2026 has reached nearly RMB 200 million<\/strong>, covering batch procurement of core components, customized robot manufacturing, cross-border joint R&D, overseas distribution partnerships and regional industrial cooperation. Final contract data is expected to increase further as follow-up negotiations continue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking Ahead: FAIR plus 2027<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Building on the success of FAIR plus 2026, the next edition will be held from 21\u201323 April 2027 in Shenzhen<\/strong>. FAIR plus 2027 is expected to expand to 30,000 sqm<\/strong>, with more than 600 exhibitors<\/strong>, over 80,000 professional visitors<\/strong>, more than 80 concurrent events<\/strong>, and over 100 overseas buyer groups<\/strong>. The 2027 edition will further strengthen its global role as a professional platform for embodied intelligence, robotics development technology, supply-chain collaboration, international standards, developer ecosystems and real-world commercialization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
