Multipole encoder magnet ring

Resolution ~20 bits (for 64 pole pairs) The main track of the dual-code-track magnetic ring can be divided into a maximum of 16 384 equal parts per cycle (14 bits) enabling a maximum resolution of 1 048 576 equal parts (20 bits) per full rotation. After assembling the dual-code-track magnetic ring with IC-MU series products the output mode can be configured during initial setup. 2. Absolute angle measurement The IC-MU series products incorporate built-in Sensor Detection Unit 1 and Detection Unit 2 with each unit detecting a corresponding track on the magnetic ring. For each full rotation of the magnetic ring the magnetic fields detected by these two units generate a 360° phase difference based on which the absolute angle is measured.
