FAIR plus 2025 Successfully Concluded | Looking Forward to an Even Greater 2026! The Robot Industry Chain Expo (FAIR plus 2025) successfully concluded on 26 April 2025, setting new records for the scale of robotics exhibitions in Shenzhen. The event strengthened Shenzhen’s robotics ecosystem, attracted investment attention to emerging fields, accelerated technology commercialization, and injected new momentum into the robotics industry’s advancement toward higher-end development and global collaboration. FAIR plus continues to set new milestones for the future of robotics.

Top-Tier Forums, Thought Leadership Exchange
Decoding the Frontier Engine of Embodied Intelligence
At the event, the Shenzhen Robotics Association, together with the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, jointly released the “2024 Shenzhen Robotics Industry Development White Paper”. This marks the tenth consecutive year that the white paper has documented the development of Shenzhen’s robotics industry driven by policy support.

During the exhibition, three full-day high-level keynote forums were held, covering academic research, industrial implementation, and global expansion. The forums showcased the latest developments in embodied intelligence and provided a platform for in-depth exchange among academia, industry, and investors, fostering mutual advancement between technological innovation and commercial applications.

Robotics All-Stars Assemble
Showcasing a New Height of Chinese Intelligent Manufacturing
At FAIR plus 2025, a dedicated full-chain robotics exhibition zone brought together more than 200 leading robotics companies, including Shenzhen’s “Thirteen Robotics Titans” and Hangzhou’s “Four Robotics Dragons,” showcasing the strength of China’s robotics ecosystem. Silicon Valley-based industrial embodied intelligence pioneer eBots also chose Shenzhen as the stage for its global debut, highlighting the exhibition’s growing international influence.
Industry leaders made a strong appearance, including humanoid robotics leader UBTECH, collaborative robotics pioneer Dobot, 3D vision leader Orbbec, LiDAR innovator RoboSense, as well as national-level “Little Giant” enterprises such as Leju Robotics and Pudu Robotics. These Shenzhen-based robotics champions showcased their latest innovations at FAIR plus 2025.

Hangzhou’s innovation forces also took the spotlight, with leading robotics companies including Unitree Robotics, BrainCo, and DEEP Robotics showcasing their cutting-edge products. Tencent Robotics X Lab’s latest innovation, the “Xiaowu” robot, also made an impressive appearance, highlighting the vibrant momentum and technological strength of China’s robotics industry.
The event also featured a series of debut showcases of innovative robotics products, spanning upstream core components, supporting services, complete robot systems, and advanced platforms such as humanoid robots, presenting the latest technological achievements in the robotics industry.

Global Buyers Gathered
Building a New Global Hub for the Robotics Industry
During FAIR plus 2025, the exhibition welcomed around 35,000 visitors and facilitated in-depth exchanges with more than 600 overseas buyers. By creating a one-stop hardware sourcing platform, the event built an efficient channel for global industry connections, further strengthening Shenzhen’s position as a global robotics industry hub. It also helped local companies expand internationally and promoted Chinese robotics products and services in global markets.
The event successfully facilitated connections between German end-effector leader SCHUNK and leading Chinese companies, including Leadshine Technology, Zhaowei Machinery & Electronics, Lens Technology, and Inovance, fostering potential collaborations. It also organized a visit for the 133-year-old German Mechanical Engineering Industry Association and more than 30 German entrepreneurs to leading Shenzhen robotics companies, including UBTECH and Youibot.

Unlocking New Opportunities in the Intelligent Era
FAIR plus 2025 featured a series of high-level forums and activities with diverse themes, fostering deeper integration between industry, academia, and research. Covering topics from financial strategies and technological breakthroughs to industry collaboration and innovation practices, the event explored new opportunities in the intelligent era from multiple perspectives and injected fresh momentum into global technological development.

Cutting-Edge Technologies, Standards as the Foundation
Building a “Technology Passport” for the Robotics Industry
During FAIR plus 2025, multiple standards working group meetings were held to bring together industry stakeholders in developing unified technical specifications. Discussions covered standard proposals, ongoing projects, and new initiatives, helping companies reduce costs, ensure component performance, and accelerate technology commercialization.
During FAIR plus 2025, seven technology community co-building sessions flourished throughout the exhibition, covering technological innovations across multiple segments of the robotics industry and fostering an open and collaborative innovation ecosystem.

Scenario-Driven, Precision Matching
Charting New Pathways for Robotics Industry Adoption
FAIR plus 2025 actively supported Shenzhen’s open application policies for artificial intelligence and robotics, organizing more than 20 closed-door roundtables covering key topics such as core robotics technology development, AI integration, and commercial applications.
The event placed special focus on real-world application needs from Nanshan District and leading organizations including Vanke Group, China Southern Power Grid, CGN, Shenzhen Airlines, and the Water Group. It built an efficient matchmaking platform connecting robotics solutions with diverse scenarios such as façade cleaning, landscaping, firefighting and rescue, industrial production, commercial services, and construction.
According to preliminary statistics, the event facilitated potential collaborations between nearly 50 solution providers and demand-side organizations, involving over RMB 60 million in intended cooperation value. It successfully promoted industry collaboration and accelerated the deployment of robotics solutions across real-world applications.
