One,Project background

Over the past decade, China's robotics industry has flourished. As the world's largest robotics market to date, the core components produced in China have been validated on an industrial scale, and the overall manufacturing capability of robotics products has begun to be exported globally.

At the same time, the robotics industry is integrating more closely with AI, experiencing a possible change in the technological paradigm: AI is moving from the information world to the physical world, and robots are moving from specialised intelligence to generalised intelligence. This process will surely brew and unleash more opportunities. Against this background, from 2025, Shenzhen Robotics Association (SRA), together with domestic and international academic authorities, industry elites, industrial organisations, as well as people from all walks of life who care about the development of the industry, will co-found the world's first robotics development and technology exhibition, FAIR plus, to promote global robotics development through supply chain and innovative technologies. We will take supply chain and innovative technology as the entry point to promote the development of the global body-intelligent robot industry.

II. Project title

Chinese name: Robotics industry-wide Conference

English name: Fair of AI and Robotics, plus (abbreviation: FAIR plus)

Name Explanation: FAIR consists of the respective initials of Fair of AI and Robotics, which refers to exhibitions and fairs related to AI and robotics in general. plus is meant to be a complementary and reinforcing part of the fair scenario, and several meanings of plus include but are not limited to:

1. Demonstrate the mature industrial chain of robots and guide the mature industrial chain into the field of robots;

2. Pull through and explore the technological and industrial links that are lacking in the convergence of artificial intelligence and robotics;

3. Expand and demonstrate more possibilities and better programmes for robotic applications.

III. Value of the project

FAIR plus is a platform focusing on the technology and development resources of the whole robot industry chain. Through academic conferences, technical standards, community cultivation, supply and demand docking, etc., it creates opportunities for technicians in development, products, engineering, and programmes of each industrial chain segment of AI+robotics, as well as relevant process, equipment, and information technology personnel from scenario parties interested in introducing robots to meet offline, and to reach cooperation, in order to effectively promote robots' development in the direction of intelligence, together with the enhancement of the overall capacity of the industry's construction and Configuration.

Under the guidance of the governing unit, Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology of Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIAT), it is jointly organised with VDMA Automation and Robotics Branch of Germany (Secretariat of IFR of World Robotics Federation), Science Robotics Journal of the United States and other units, to promote the depth of exchange between the industry and academics.

  •  Scenario pulling, pulling industry chain collaborative innovation technology pairing

Taking the scene as a pull, it emphasises the collaborative innovation of the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain; taking joint development as a means to promote technology pairing and cooperation, it gradually forms a new paradigm of robot custom development for the scene and a link network of industrial resources.

  •  Creating a new role in international co-operation and locking down the hardware eco-site

Through the positioning and publicity of FAIR plus, it will shape a more friendly and cooperative image of the industry, and help China's robotics in international cooperation to further consolidate the ecological position of the hardware advantage: Role 1: Provide new global robotics players with robotics hardware development kits based on the overall capability of China's manufacturing industry; Role 2: Provide new global AI players with model verification and data protection based on complete machine products such as humanoid robots. hardware platform.

VI. Concurrent activities

(i) Opening of the Conference

Directed to invite leaders in charge, academic authorities, industry leaders, and exhibitors, news media representatives to attend and witness the launch of the event, as well as the following links: “Shenzhen Robotics Industry Development White Paper” released (since 2014, the Shenzhen Robotics Association by the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology commissioned for 11 consecutive years to organise the preparation of the policy to promote the development of the robotics industry in Shenzhen, the whole process of record). At the same time, the conference will release a new book “Robot+” Application Innovation Scenario Research"; hold the "First National Safety Emergency Robot Competition" and other tournaments launching ceremony.

(ii) FIRST Conference on Frontiers of Intelligent Robotics in Academia and Industry

FIRST is the acronym for Forum on Intelligent Robot Science and Technology, hereinafter referred to as “FIRST”. Hereinafter referred to as “FIRST Conference”. There will also be seven parallel sub-forums covering breakthroughs in core technologies and applications of robots in the fields of industry, family, agriculture, ocean, emergency safety, surgery, medical care, rehabilitation and health.

(III) POWER Robot Future Conference, Robot Industry-Finance Innovation and Empowerment Summit

Jointly organised by Shenzhen Venture Capital Association and other units, POWER pursues cutting-edge leadership (Pioneer), the most configurable (Optimal), industry wisdom (Wisdom), capital empowerment (Empower), and robotics pendant (Robotics), inviting industry leaders and investment elites to dialogue in depth on topics such as technological breakthroughs, application landings, capital empowerment, and international layout. We invite industry leaders and investment elites to have in-depth dialogues on technology breakthroughs, application implementation, capital empowerment, international layout and other topics to study trends and grasp industry opportunities. During the same period, the POWER series also includes roadshows and training.

(iv) Eco-UNITE series on technology standards and technology community building

Through the development of technical standards, the joint convening of technical communities, and the joint organisation of camp activities by related camps, we have created a venue for the exchange of technical talents. For example, we jointly convene technical communities such as Siemens Xcelerator, ROSCon China (Gu Yueju), Open Source China OSCHINA, Jialichuang, Xbotics, etc., and support their community activities in the same period; and support eco-camps such as Zhiyou-Yarui i⁵Robot and Mars Acceleration Camp to carry out campers' activities in the same period; Introducing national standard working groups, such as the National Standard Working Group for Data Acquisition and Model Training Specification for Training Bases with High-Quality Data Sets with Body Intelligence, to carry out standard development work at the same time, and joining hands with TÜV to jointly organise seminars on CE certification standards for humanoid robots.

Supply and Demand Matchmaking for Industry Chain Collaboration and Innovation MATCH Series
