TECHNICAL REPORT

Following the successful conclusion of the POWER Industry-Finance Summit at the main venue of FAIR plus 2026 in Shenzhen, the second event in the “POWER On the Road” series—the Shanghai special session—was successfully held on 27 May at Dachen Capital in Shanghai. The event was jointly organised by the Shenzhen Robotics Association, the Shenzhen Venture Capital Association and Dachen Capital. Building on the conference’s core mission of “connecting industry, capital and projects”, this Shanghai event established a platform for cross-regional exchange and cooperation within the intelligent robotics sector through themed presentations, institutional networking, corporate roadshows and ecosystem partnerships.

In his address, Mr Wang Wenrong stated that the intelligent robotics industry is currently at a critical stage characterised by rapid technological evolution and accelerating industrial convergence, and that the regional industrial base, capital support capacity and resources for application scenarios are of great significance to corporate growth and the implementation of projects. He expressed the hope that, building on this event, interaction and exchange between Shenzhen and investment institutions and robotics enterprises in Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta region would be further strengthened, thereby facilitating more efficient connections between high-quality projects and industrial capital.

Mr Sun Liqing stated that Shenzhen boasts a vibrant venture capital ecosystem and a solid foundation in the intelligent robotics industry, and that Shenzhen-based venture capital firms have long been identifying, investing in and empowering projects across the country. By expanding into Shanghai on this occasion, the aim is to further connect Shenzhen’s outstanding technology projects and robotics industry resources with investment institutions and industry partners in East China, thereby helping more high-quality projects to be identified, supported and empowered, and jointly fostering an open and collaborative industrial ecosystem.

     Dr Tan Weijia, Full-time Secretary-General of the Shenzhen Robotics Association and founder of the FAIR plus Robotics Full Industry Chain Forum, then delivered a keynote presentation on the development of the POWER Robot platform and the robotics industry ecosystem.

      Tan Bo noted that as artificial intelligence technology continues to extend into the physical world, the boundaries of the robotics industry are constantly expanding, and the value of various links in the industrial chain—including upstream core components, finished product manufacturing, system integration, data collection and application scenarios—is also being reshaped at an accelerating pace. In response to this trend, both the FAIR plus Robotics Full Industry Chain Conference and the POWER Robot Future Conference are committed to establishing more efficient platforms for exchange amongst robotics enterprises, research teams, industrial investors and supply chain partners.

      She explained that POWER Robot not only focuses on centralised exhibitions and resource networking during the conference, but will also continue to foster two-way communication between enterprises and capital by visiting different cities and connecting with local investors and industry resources. Shenzhen possesses distinct advantages in terms of its robotics industry chain and venture capital ecosystem. It is hoped that, building on this foundation, the city can forge more complementary industrial partnerships with Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta region, providing robotics enterprises with ongoing support ranging from development and validation, through supply chain collaboration, to access to financing.

    The attendees agreed that, whilst the sector is currently experiencing growing momentum, investment firms—whilst paying attention to technological innovation and team capabilities—are placing even greater emphasis on companies’ ability to implement solutions in real-world scenarios and their commercial performance. All parties look forward to using this event as an opportunity to further strengthen collaboration between Shenzhen and the Yangtze River Delta region in areas such as project investment, industrial resources and application scenarios.

Lu Haifeng, Deputy General Manager of Dai Shi Intelligent, outlined the company’s technological capabilities and product portfolio in the fields of inertial sensors, inertial measurement units and motion data acquisition for robots. The company’s relevant technologies are already being applied in sectors such as the automotive and robotics industries, and can support robot vision fusion, body control and high-quality motion data acquisition.

Cheng Miao, Assistant to the Chairman of Jia’an Intelligent, outlined the company’s exploration and practical experience in the field of industrial embodied intelligence applications. Currently, the company is focusing on three major product areas: intelligent grinding and polishing workstations, composite robots and humanoid robots, and is accelerating the implementation of industrial embodied intelligence applications across key sectors such as 3C, automotive, aerospace and industrial manufacturing. Through its continued specialisation in force control technology, motion control, AI and the accumulation of industrial data, Jia’an Intelligent has established a comprehensive technological foundation for smart manufacturing.

According to Lu Yukun, co-founder of Ruyi Power, the company is leveraging its accumulated expertise in hardware, software, models, algorithms and data within the autonomous driving sector to expand into the robotics field, with a particular focus on edge computing platforms, embodied intelligence operating systems and solutions for specific application scenarios. The company aims to provide collaborative support to various robotics manufacturers through its edge computing capabilities and expertise in models and algorithms.

Liu Zheng, Director of Visual Operations at Lensai, gave a presentation on 3D visual perception, ToF imaging chips and module products. He outlined the potential for these technologies in robotic environmental perception, machine vision and industrial applications, and provided details on product R&D, mass production plans and funding strategies.

Azure Engine

Zhao Zhiwu, founder of Blue Engine, gave a presentation on the laser weed-control robot project. The company focuses on green plant protection in agriculture and, through visual recognition, laser-guided precision operations and intelligent control technologies, is exploring new ways to reduce the use of chemical herbicides and improve agricultural efficiency. He also highlighted the company’s plans for expanding into overseas markets.

Sainade

Xia Zhimin, Director of the Sainade Artificial Intelligence Research Institute, spoke on the application of robotics in logistics scenarios. The company is focusing its efforts on areas such as autonomous loading and unloading and logistics sorting, exploring ways in which robotics technology can address the logistics industry’s practical needs in terms of high-intensity operations, labour costs and the integration of automated processes, with a view to promoting the large-scale implementation of embodied intelligence in logistics scenarios.

The successful conclusion of this Shanghai event has further consolidated FAIR plus’s ecological strategy of ‘being based in Shenzhen, extending nationwide and connecting globally’, facilitating two-way exchange between Shenzhen’s robotics industry resources and the capital and application resources of the Yangtze River Delta.
