Wuhu Institute of Intelligent Sensor Co., Ltd. was established in 2025. As a technology platform enterprise wholly owned by Wuhu Investment Holdings Group Co., Ltd., it serves as a key initiative for Wuhu to capitalise on the emerging opportunities in the intelligent sensor industry and build an innovation ecosystem spanning the entire industrial chain. The Institute is closely aligned with the sensor application needs of Wuhu’s core industrial clusters. It shoulders the vital mission of empowering the development of upstream and downstream enterprises in the sensor industry and driving the local industry towards high-end and intelligent transformation. The Institute engages in in-depth cooperation with the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and extensively connects innovation resources from the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta, providing comprehensive, full-cycle support for enterprises across the sensor industrial chain. The Institute makes its MEMS pilot and small-batch production lines available to local technology enterprises in the sensor sector, offering low-cost, high-quality and timely trial production and product performance optimisation services, as well as inspection and testing services. This bridges the "last mile" from technological research and development to practical application, helping local enterprises reduce R&D costs and shorten time-to-market. Furthermore, the Institute has launched an initiative to identify enterprises' technical needs, precisely addressing the technical challenges faced by local firms and jointly conducting industry-university-research collaborative research to promote the transformation and commercialisation of high-quality technological achievements. By expanding its cooperation network and vigorously promoting applied research, experimental development and commercial trial production, the Institute is injecting new vitality into the development of the regional industry.
