In the autonomous following function of quadruped robots, the UWB-AOA 360° anchor provided by UbiTraq plays a critical role. The Vbot Super Power Quadruped Robot can accurately and in real time detect the position of its owner wearing a UWB tag. Whether the owner is in front, to the side or behind, moving at a constant speed or changing direction suddenly, the robot can continuously track the target and achieve true intelligent following. This stable and reliable position perception capability serves as the technical foundation for smooth following and collaborative operation in dynamic and complex environments.

Product Specifications

UbiTraq offers 360° hemispherical 3D positioning using a single anchor, with a detection range of over 20 metres. It can also be used as a UWB radar to detect the presence of nearby personnel, enabling low-power sleep/wake-up functions for robots or other intelligent interactions. Supports both Quanjitech custom UWB tags and third-party standard UWB tags, with extensible support for UWB-enabled mobile phones and smartwatches. A specialised antenna design ensures orientation-insensitive operation for UWB tags, allowing them to be worn freely without strict alignment. Operates in the CH9 band in compliance with the latest global regulations, making it suitable for worldwide markets. The core chip and manufacturing process meet automotive-grade standards for high reliability. Dimensions: 44 mm × 5 mm, UART data interface, single 3.3 V power supply.
