The company utilises world-leading flexible tactile solutions and fabrication processes to develop integrated flexible electronic skin tactile chips (referred to as “electronic skin”) that are multimodal, highly sensitive, stretchable (elastic) and feature high array density for the simultaneous acquisition and feedback of multiple physical signals. Electronic skin is an advanced sensing system that densely integrates various types of tactile sensing units onto a flexible polymer substrate. It is capable of detecting and perceiving a wide range of physical signals, including pressure, temperature, proximity, shear stress, sliding, and surface texture. Furthermore, it incorporates signal pre-processing, transmission and feedback functionalities. Several of the technologies employed represent world-first innovations.
