CETC Hikvision Wuxi Technology Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hikvision Group. The park in which it is located serves as Hikvision Group’s second headquarters base, with a total planned land area of 272 mu, a gross floor area of 356,000 square metres and a total investment of 2.2 billion yuan. The park comprises four core functions—office, R&D, testing and ancillary support—to serve the multi-tiered development needs of enterprises. As the main battleground for Hikvision Group’s third entrepreneurial venture and a demonstration zone for the deep integration of technological and industrial innovation, the Hikvision Group Micro, Small and Specialised Robotics Industrial Cluster employs a development model centred on core business leadership, ecosystem aggregation and resource empowerment. This fosters a cluster-based entrepreneurial model, attracting upstream and downstream enterprises to engage in collaborative innovation and forming a complete industrial chain ranging from core components to integrated systems. The cluster houses China’s first “Micro, Small and Specialised Robotics Pilot Production Platform” and an outdoor training ground, providing testing and validation scenarios for robots in a variety of real-world complex environments, including fire scenes, underwater environments, complex terrain, environmental monitoring and pipeline networks. The pilot production platform and training ground are open to all enterprises within the micro, small and special-purpose robotics ecosystem, providing end-to-end support for the R&D and industrialisation of such robotics technologies. Leveraging the 100-billion-yuan ecosystem of Hikvision Group, the cluster has already developed multiple micro, small and special-purpose robot products with independent intellectual property rights, covering a range of configurations including land, water, air, space and ground-based models.
