Dongtu Technology is dedicated to research in industrial control and networking technologies. The company has independently developed foundational Industrial Internet technologies, including industrial operating systems, industrial networking chips and industrial utility software. It is driving the adoption of software-defined control technology and the transition to all-IP industrial networks within the industrial sector, thereby achieving the convergence of information and industrial communication networks. Dongtu Technology’s mission is to contribute to the global development of industrial digitalisation and intelligent manufacturing. Since its establishment, Dongtu Technology has led the formulation of six international standards and participated in the formulation of two others, whilst leading the formulation of 36 national standards. The company serves as the chair of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s (MIIT) Working Group on Underlying Fundamental Technologies for the Industrial Internet and has been recognised by the MIIT as a ‘Single Champion Enterprise’ in China’s industrial communications sector. Dongtu Technology’s products are widely deployed across high-speed rail, power grids, petrochemicals, factory automation and clean energy sectors. Dongtu Technology’s innovative software-defined control technology was jointly awarded the Technology Innovation Award with Siemens’ Industrial Brain technology at the first World Artificial Intelligence Conference, and won first prize at the inaugural China Industrial Internet Competition organised by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
