MLX81339+MLX90381 is a highly integrated micro motor driver solution. The core advantage of the solution is that it can support customers to design the motor driver solution into an ultra-small PCB with a diameter of no more than 7mm, which is perfectly suited for miniaturised and high-precision motor control scenarios, taking into account performance and compactness, and provides an efficient and reliable solution for micro motor applications. The core of the solution consists of MLX81339, a fully integrated motor driver chip, and MLX90381, an ultra-small high-speed position sensor from Triaxis® Pico-Resolver. Among them, MLX81339 integrates MCU, wide-range power supply, pre-drive and 4-way half-bridge, built-in 32kB Flash and 10kB ROM, with on-chip co-processor to achieve parallel computation to improve performance; support 5V-26V wide supply voltage, with 3.3V/15mA adjustable output, can be directly for the sensor power supply, 4mmx4mm QFN24 package to greatly save space, and over-temperature, over-current and over-current. MLX90381 adopts 2.0mm×2.5mm ultra-small DFN-6 package, 2μs high-speed refresh rate with SIN/COSIN output, supports multi-axis measurement mode, functional safety up to ISO26262 ASIL-B, and can be adapted to ultra-small motors with a diameter of as low as 4mm. The solution is mainly used in industries that require high miniaturisation and high precision of motors, including hollow cup motors for dexterous hands of humanoid robots (adapted to the needs of fine operation), robot gripper drive control, and medical equipment such as medical electronic syringe pumps, etc. In addition, it can also be widely used in various types of ultra-small-sized BLDC motors with no gear groove, micro-actuators and other scenarios, which can help the equipment to achieve miniaturisation and high-precision upgrading.
