Product Description

The ZHROB-MA ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) air duct cleaning robot is capable of independently entering confined and dark spaces. It performs fully autonomous operations, ranging from environmental recognition to cleaning planning. This drastically reduces manual labour, ensuring a more streamlined and efficient maintenance process. Equipped with an adaptive cleaning arm, the robot hugs the inner walls of the ducts closely. By integrating high-speed roller brushes with a negative-pressure suction system, it efficiently removes dust and stubborn dirt. The system delivers a dual "Cleaning + Disinfection" result in a single operation, effectively addressing the challenges of cleaning narrow and dimly lit spaces within buildings.

Product Specifications

The ZHROB-MA is a fully autonomous, wireless air duct cleaning robot designed for high performance. Its key specifications are as follows: 1. Core Cleaning Capabilities • Cleaning Method: Utilises a combination of a 600 RPM high-speed roller brush, 10,000 Pa negative pressure suction, and the spraying of a quaternary ammonium salt solution for disinfection. • Cleaning Range: The cleaning roller brush covers a three-dimensional range of 180° × 115° × 360°. • Cleaning Efficiency: Approx. 154 m²/h (10 times the efficiency of traditional manual labour). • Cleaning Coverage: ≥ 90%. • Duct Adaptability: Suitable for air ducts with a height between 400 mm and 1,200 mm and a width greater than 400 mm. 2. Intelligence & Autonomous Operations • Autonomous Localisation & Navigation in Confined Spaces: o Utilises a multi-sensor fusion system integrating an IMU, LiDAR and binocular stereo depth cameras. o Capable of millimetre-level mapping, autonomous obstacle avoidance and navigation even in confined, dark and low-texture environments. • Autonomous Cleaning Planning: o Uses binocular vision to analyse the condition of dirt inside ducts. o Automatically tailors cleaning plans and generates optimal trajectories to maximise efficiency. • Autonomous Perception & Control of Cleaning Arm: o High-Performance Arm: An algorithm-driven 4-DOF (Degrees of Freedom) robotic arm with joint motors providing 120 N·m of torque to handle various loads. o Adaptive Fitting: Utilises compliant force control technology to ensure the arm adaptively conforms to and thoroughly cleans all four walls (top, bottom, left, right) of the duct. o Safety & Precision: Deeply integrates environmental data to precisely identify obstacle contours and positions. It dynamically adjusts the arm’s trajectory in real time to prevent collisions whilst ensuring high-efficiency operation in complex, confined environments. 3. Basic Performance • Battery Life: Built-in 24V 40Ah ternary lithium battery, supporting continuous operation for > 2.5 hours. • Wireless Transmission: o Equipped with 2.4G + 5.8G dual-band communication modules. o Includes a professional remote control terminal supporting wireless video transmission. o Remote Control Range: > 5 km; Data Latency: < 170 ms. • Chassis Architecture: o Features a Mecanum wheel chassis. o Supports lateral movement, diagonal movement and zero-radius (on-the-spot) turning. o Significantly enhances manoeuvrability in large ducts, bends and confined, sealed spaces.

Company Profile

Shenzhen AVIC Daji Robotics Co.

AVIC Daji brand was established in 1985, focusing on the research, development and production of end-of-pipe products for HVAC systems in public buildings. In order to make full use of the brand advantages, integrate platform resources, layout of the new robotics industry, Shenzhen AVIC Daji Robotics Company Limited was established in early 2025. The company and Northwestern Polytechnical University to carry out in-depth cooperation between industry, academia and research, aerospace, aviation and other cutting-edge technology down to the ground, and jointly set up the “pipeline corridor detection and intelligent operation technology joint laboratory”, focusing on the narrow space operation scenarios, to solve the construction industry's narrow space operation is difficult and inefficient pain points. Successfully developed narrow space operation robots with autonomous navigation and obstacle avoidance, autonomous operation and autonomous learning capabilities. Among them, pipeline inspection robots and pipeline cleaning robots have been used in Shenzhen Metro, Wuhan Metro and other major national infrastructure pipeline systems, solving the problems of high safety risks and lack of precision faced by traditional manual work. In the future, AVIC Daji Robotics Co., Ltd. will focus on the narrow space operation robot technology, continue to iterate and innovate, and launch more products and solutions to meet the needs of the industry, and help the construction industry and high-end manufacturing industry upgrade and develop in the direction of intelligence, high efficiency and green.
