Tashan Technology is a research and development company specialising in AI haptic sensing chips and their application solutions. Founded in 2017, the company brings together a team of senior R&D experts from leading universities such as Tsinghua University and the University of Manchester. After years of dedicated work, Tashan Technology has overcome the global technical challenge of simultaneously analysing multi-dimensional tactile perception signals. Furthermore, the company has developed the world’s first dedicated hybrid analogue-digital AI tactile chip, breaking through the bottleneck in the industry’s development of tactile perception and establishing an integrated hardware and software solution in the field of AI haptics. In the field of humanoid robotics, its technologies are primarily used in applications such as robotic fingertip tactile sensors and electronic skin, whilst also finding widespread application across multiple sectors including automotive, home appliances and consumer electronics. Currently, Tashan Technology has established partnerships with numerous domestic and international industry leaders, including Yinshi Robotics, Qiangnao Technology, Lingqiao Intelligence, Aoyi, Lingxin Qiaoshou, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, BYD and Joyoung. Tashan Technology is a National-level Specialised, Refined, Unique and Innovative “Little Giant” enterprise and was approved as a National-level Key Specialised, Refined, Unique and Innovative “Little Giant” enterprise in 2025. It is also a National High-Tech Enterprise, a Beijing Municipal Specialised, Refined, Unique and Innovative Enterprise, a Beijing Municipal Digital Economy Benchmark Enterprise, a key enterprise under the “Five Initiatives”, and was approved for the 2021 Beijing Municipal Frontier Technology Achievement Transformation and Industrialisation Project. In 2022, it received support from the Beijing Municipal Talent Bureau’s "Young Science and Technology Leader Cultivation Funding Programme", and was designated as the ‘Science and Innovation China’ International Innovation Base for Artificial Intelligence Tactile Technology by the China Association for Science and Technology.
