This tactile sensor is specifically designed to mimic the physical properties and tactile capabilities of human fingertip skin, enabling highly precise and stable grasping operations. Key functionalities include object position and shape detection, proximity sensing, and material and texture recognition. The sensor supports both one-dimensional and three-dimensional force measurements, offering both contact and non-contact object detection. Non-contact mode enables the detection of object position and shape, whilst contact mode enables the sensing of material properties, friction and tangential force. The product offers exceptional versatility and high sensing accuracy.

Product Specifications

The TS Tactile Sensing Unit is a tactile perception product independently developed by Tashan Technology for use in various fields. It simulates the physical properties and tactile perception capabilities of human skin, enabling the perception of an object’s shape, position and material. In sectors such as healthcare, entertainment and electronics, tactile perception can significantly enhance product interaction and intelligence, offering strong versatility, high perception accuracy and stable precision. 1. High Precision & Material Recognition Tashan Technology’s tactile sensors support one-dimensional to three-dimensional force measurement, with force resolution accuracy of up to 0.01N, and can achieve non-contact material recognition, identifying more than 30 types of materials. 2. Proximity Perception & Non-Contact Sensing Based on the principle of capacitive field effect, Tashan Technology’s tactile sensors achieve high-resolution non-contact perception and proximity sensing, supporting near-field object recognition and perception. 3. Dynamic Collaborative Perception & Dynamic Collaborative Control Tashan Technology’s AI tactile-specific chip is based on the R-SpiNNaker architecture, supporting on-chip single-core or dual-core and small-scale distributed SNN. The flexible distributed architecture can support collaborative perception of different scales and low-latency collaborative computing, enabling dynamic collaborative perception and control for tactile sensors/electronic skin with zoning and grading. 4. Cost-Effectiveness & Scalability The underlying chip of Tashan Technology’s tactile sensor adopts the R-SpiNNaker’s quad-core neuromorphic chip architecture, keeping the number of neurons simulated by a single tactile unit below 128, thereby significantly reducing manufacturing costs and making the product suitable for large-scale commercial deployment whilst maintaining high performance.
