The Y-Hand M2 Bionic Layagrity Dexterous Hand is based on the Bionic Layagrity Robotics Theory and Technology, an internationally pioneering framework originally developed by Professor Lei Ren. Building on this groundbreaking foundation, the Y-Hand M2 delivers three disruptive innovations. Firstly, it breaks away from conventional rigid hinged designs by reproducing the natural three-dimensional, six-degree-of-freedom motion of biological joints, significantly improving joint flexibility and compliance. Second, through its self-developed magnet-integrated electrodynamic artificial muscles, the Y-Hand M2 recreates the biomechanical characteristics of human skeletal muscle, enabling high power-to-weight-ratio actuation and an integrated power system that combines actuation, transmission, and speed regulation. Third, inspired by the human musculoskeletal system, Y-Hand M2 adopts a bionic multi-layer, multi-level rigid-flexible coupled architecture, enabling system-level power transmission, energy management, and environmental interaction. Together, these innovations redefine the performance limits of dexterous hands and provide a breakthrough solution for high-load, high-speed, highly compliant and highly precise manipulation in complex real-world environments.

Exceptional Output Capability The five-finger gripping force reaches 330 N, more than six times that of conventional rigid dexterous hands, meeting the demands of high-load grasping and manipulation. 2. High-Speed Motion Full five-finger closure takes only 0.2 seconds, more than three times faster than conventional rigid dexterous hands. 3. Advanced Dexterity With 38 degrees of freedom, the Y-Hand M2 is currently the world’s highest-DOF bionic dexterous hand, capable of executing a wide range of complex human-like grasping and manipulation tasks. 4. Highly Compliant Interaction Featuring a finger compliance of 59 mm/N, Y-Hand M2 delivers outstanding adaptability and safe interaction in dynamic environments. 5. Precision Manipulation The repeat positioning accuracy of a single fingertip reaches 0.04 mm, more than twice that of conventional rigid dexterous hands, meeting the requirements of high-precision operations.
