The PH series micro dexterous hand joint reducer is a joint actuator suitable for the dexterous hand tendon-cable transmission system. It utilises the micro toroidal envelope multi-tooth meshing worm gear and worm technology independently developed by Talls Intelligence. It features a compact size, high torque and high precision, achieving significant improvements in traction force, service life and thermal stability. The PH reducer has a large through-hole, facilitating cable routing within the dexterous hand, and the module integrated at the wrist is smaller, representing an innovative technology within the dexterous hand tendon-cable transmission system. It incorporates a self-pre-tensioning function for the cable, enabling self-correction via the motor should the cable become slack. Action reset is achieved through a torsion spring. The motor drive is centralised in the arm, ensuring the entire hand remains lightweight at its tip.

Miniaturisation: With a centre-to-centre distance of just 4.5 mm, its volume is 40% smaller than traditional solutions, and it weighs only 9–49 grams. High torque: With a torque density of up to 500 Nm/kg, it can achieve a torque output ranging from 1 to 3 N·m. High load capacity: The load capacity of the reducer with a centre-to-centre distance of 10 mm is up to 22 kg. High precision: Accuracy of up to ±3 arc minutes, with a repeatability error of 0.015 mm. Long service life and reliability: With a service life exceeding 10,000 hours, it features a self-locking function and operates at a noise level below 50 decibels.
