Powered by Fixposition’s proprietary xFusion™ engine, the Vision-RTK 2 Plus sensor sets a new benchmark for reliable centimetre-level positioning. It seamlessly integrates GNSS, VIO and computer vision to provide continuous and precise global positioning and pose output even in environments where GNSS signals are weak or unavailable, including tunnels, underpasses, forests, urban canyons and industrial sites. This ensures that autonomous equipment such as industrial mowers, legged robots, quadruped robots, and autonomous sweepers can operate with true commercial reliability at scale. Vision-RTK 2 Plus is built on an advanced, tightly coupled GNSS and in-house VIO architecture that goes beyond traditional, loosely coupled GNSS/INS systems. It delivers excellent stability during GNSS signal degradation and maintains high accuracy using float solutions, Doppler, pseudorange, and other measurements. With a high-end IMU and carefully optimised VIO, the system achieves a drift rate as low as 0.51ppm in GNSS-denied environments, ensuring smooth and continuous low-speed localisation. The sensor is designed for fast and simple deployment. It is plug-and-play and supports standard interfaces including UART, TCP, and CAN. Indoor initialisation is also supported, enabling quick startup without requiring an RTK fixed solution. With an IP67 rating for water and dust protection and a robust anti-vibration design, the device is ready for the most demanding field conditions. Vision-RTK 2 Plus brings unmatched positioning resilience to autonomous systems and empowers robots to move with greater confidence, intelligence, and safety in real-world environments.
